Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest" then yes, add them to the party! If not, then we would prefer that it was just you.

I’m flying into DTW, do I need to rent a car?

Answer

This certainly depends on your plans while in Detroit. The airport is located about 30 minutes downtown Detroit and the hotels. The church and reception are located about 10 minutes from each other and the hotels. The reception and hotels are about 5 minutes from each other. Approximate Uber costs: - Airport to hotel: ~$50 - Hotel to Church: ~$25 - Church to Reception: ~$25 - Reception to Hotel: ~$20

Is there parking at the church and reception?

Answer

Yes! There is ample parking at the church and reception. We will provide a code on this page that will provide free overnight garage parking at the reception venue.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have blocks at 3 hotels near Greek Town in downtown Detroit. Greek Town is where the welcome party will be located and has many fun bars and restaurants. The Atheneum is in Greek Town, the Hilton is 1 block away and the Marriott is 5 blocks away. All options are very close to each other and about the same uber/driving distance from other events. Please visit the "Hotel & Travel" tab in order to access details about each of the wedding blocks.

Will shuttle transportation be provided?

Answer

There will not be shuttles provided. If you do not have a car, you can take an uber between places. If you have a car, there is free parking at both the church and reception. All guests have access to free overnight garage parking at the reception.
