Man of Honor
Brandon is my brother and very best friend! Even though he is 6 years older than me, and I definitely used to really annoy him when we were younger, we have always been very close. We have always found ways to have great times together even when life was forcing us to be apart...from letting me crash his Cornell apartment when he was in college, to letting me crash his apartment when he was living in St. Thomas. We share a love of fishing and pierogies...what more could you ask for? Brandon is a lawyer, but really he's been getting me out of trouble my whole life even before he did it for a living!
Bridesmaid
Allison has always claimed the title of "best friend". We know each other from high school, and really became close our freshman year. We have lived with each other in total for probably a decade at different times in our lives, and are somehow still really close even after being roommates for all that time (as anyone who has had roommates knows, that's no small feat)! We went from partying together in Myrtle Beach on spring breaks in high school to partying together at Buffalo Bills' tailgates. Allison resides in Buffalo with A LOT of adorable pets!
Bridesmaid
Kassie is my cousin who might as well be my older sister. We've always been really close, even if she used to pick on me a little when I was younger. Kassie has two adorable boys, and she's one of the best Moms I know. We used to make up synchronized dances in the swimming pool when we were little, and I'm thinking we should bring that back for the wedding.
Bridesmaid
Melanie and I are throwback friends from Bloomfield High School (and way way way before), we have been in each other's orbit for as long as I can remember! We used to dress up like Spice Girls and show off our beanie babies to one another. She's a California babe now, and is getting married the weekend before me! So crazy!
Bridesmaid
Jess is a friend from nursing school! Nursing school is a drag and really stressful, so anyone you meet and connect with during that experience is sure to be a lifelong friend. Jess is a nurse (obviously) at Strong Memorial Hospital, and works with broken bones and old people (I don't know how she does it). Jess is my go to drinking partner, we often go to lunch together and accidentally get a little too tipsy!
Bridesmaid
Melanie is my Jersey girl, who I also met during nursing school! We became friends because we were both late for orientation on the first day of school (or as she says, we were both on time and everyone else was early). However I'm so glad we were "on time" together, because no one else could have gotten me through the struggle that is nursing school! Melanie is in NYC right now taking care of the cutest and tiniest babies! We bond over Grey's Anatomy and cheesy rom coms.
Groomsman
Tim aka "TJ" is my brother. Our relationship growing up consisted of playing baseball in the backyard and practicing our wrestling moves on our mom's bed. Looking back on it, it seems to have been more fun for him than me. I guess that happens when you're the little brother! Even though he liked to tease me from time to time he was still always very supportive of me, especially when it came to whatever sport I was playing. Very excited to have him by my side for the big day!
Groomsman
Kelsey and I first met in high school when he started dating my friend Megan (let the record show that Megan and I were friends first haha). Since then we've become super close friends. We attended Brockport together where I slept on his couch at least 3 times a week, and even now I can still be found at his house just about every weekend. If our DJ sees this page get used to this man's face, and play whatever song he requests.
Groomswoman
Megan isn't a regular mom, she's a cool mom. We go back to middle school? Elementary? Honestly I don't remember exactly when, but she's one of my oldest friends. She tried to teach me how to drive stick in high school and then she, along with her husband Kelsey, showed me the ropes in college. I like to think taking care of me was good training for them for the three awesome kids they have now. It's not surprising to see me at a family reunion down at the lake, and thanks for letting us join in on the family trip to the Cape every year!
Groomsman
Drew Daddy! Drew is my golf partner, and even though we always lose we have a great time. We became friends through Kelsey and Megan, and bonded over "bridge talks" at Darien State Park (I says c'mon Big Cat!). We often go on Drew Dates, because that's what men do! He's the best 3rd wheel co-pilot for Brittany and I for our yearly trips to Cape Cod, and he has a free fishing pass at the pond by our soon-to-be new house for life.
Groomsman
Gonyea and I also became friends through Kelsey and Megan (they really are the mom and dad of the friend group). From there, we have played golf and softball with each other every summer and were roommates for 3 years. Strolling down to Park Ave were some of the best times ever. That dragonfly blue cheese is the best, am I right? If you see this man shrugging his shoulders when he's laughing, then you know he's having a great time!
Groomsman
Other than my brother, I've known Marcus the longest of all the groomsmen/woman. We played sports together throughout high school (Meat Grinder, also he's good at baseball) and I can still vividly remember going to Luigi's for his birthday dinner in 5th grade. We often text each other random song lyrics or what I'll refer to as the "name game" to see if we can stump each other, which sounds weird as I type it out, but it's fierce competition and true friendship. FRND.
