And so the adventure begins...

Brittany and Alex first met in college at Oklahoma City University in 2012. They crossed paths as acquaintances through friend groups for years until their lives intersected directly as they started jobs at Six Flags Frontier City in OKC. They both began to advance their careers in the theme park industry - Brittany working with entertainment & Alex through Operations until they both started directly working together becoming managers at Six Flags Frontier City. Their friendship flourished as they spent time together at work and outside of work visiting haunted houses, playing guitar hero, and just enjoying each other's company. Conversation was easy and laughter was often and everything else fell into place. They bought their first home in OKC and were excited to begin planning for their future together in Oklahoma, but COVID obviously had different plans about a year and a half later. Alex got a wonderful job opportunity that led them back to Brittany's home state - Alabama. It wasn't the journey they pictured at first, but they made it a home. When visiting family in Oklahoma for Christmas of 2021, Alex knew it was the perfect time to pop the question. Oklahoma was where they made their first home together - it's where their love story began. He planned a thoughtful night of a beautiful dinner in Downtown OKC & then a romantic walk in the Myriad Gardens. Alex had secretly brought in two of Brittany's best friends that she hadn't been able to see since they moved and also his brother & sister-in-law to help set up the entire evening. It might have taken Brittany a moment to realize what was happening, but Alex got down on one knee and she knew the answer was easy - YES! They're excited to begin this new adventure of the next chapter in their stories, and even more excited that you get to be a part of that chapter. See you in Bama, Y'all!
