Wedding FAQ’s FAQ’s What is the attire? The theme is Vintage Spring Garden Party! We would love our guests to get dressed up with us! The attire is semi-formal. Ladies, think wildflowers and whimsy - wear your flowy florals & popping pastels. Men wear your vintage, clean, classy fits and be mindful that it will be May so it could be hot or cold. The ceremony will be held outdoors, so ladies please keep this in mind when choosing your heels! Can I bring a plus one? We want everyone to have fun, and we also want our day to be intimate with those we know and love! Spaces are limited, so in order to accommodate our big village, we are inviting only those we know and love. If you receive an invitation with a plus one, they will be included in the RSVP. Don’t worry +1’s, we will take great care of them! Do you have a registry? The greatest gift is having everyone we love with us on our big day. However, if you wish to contribute a gift, please see our Amazon and HoneyFund Registry links on this website under the registry tab! Additionally, please drop any cards in the card box at the reception. We love and appreciate you all and you already bring everything we need to the table! What if we need someplace to crash after? We are only able to open our home to close family on our wedding night, however there are nearby hotels in Hanover that are within 5-15 minutes from the venue. Please see the travel tab for hotel links and be sure to book ahead if you plan on staying in the area for the night.
When should I RSVP by? Please RSVP by March 15th, 2026. If we do not receive a response by this date, you will be marked as “not attending.” We need to give our vendors a final head count to prepare for the big day! You can RSVP by using the tab above, however if you prefer to mail your RSVP, an RSVP card has been included with your invitation. You can also scan the QR code on the RSVP card to reply! If you reply that you will be attending but find at any time that you cannot make it, please let Brittany or Alex know immediately so that we can plan accordingly. I forgot to RSVP! Now what? While we are sad to not have you there for our day, our deadline for RSVP must remain firm for the sake of our vendors and our extensive planning process. This will mean that if you did not RSVP, you will not be permitted to show up to our special day since we will not have seating, food or drink accommodations for you. What time should I arrive? Our ceremony will be at 3pm so please arrive at least 30 minutes early to find your seat! No one will be permitted into the ceremony once it has started, so we will see you afterward at the reception if you are late.
Can we take pictures during the ceremony? We have hired a fantastic photographer who knows exactly what we want photographed, so please do not take pictures during the ceremony. Sit back and be present with us, we will surely share the photos with you all. Feel free to take lots of pictures for cocktail hour and the reception and scan the QR code set up on the welcome table so we can see the shots! Additionally, please ASK BEFORE YOU POST them on social media. Where can I park? The venue will have parking for guests (60 car maximum - so carpooling with friends is encouraged). An attendant will be present to direct people on where to park. Please save handicap spots for our guests who absolutely need them. Is there a shuttle service? We will not have a shuttle service, so please come prepared with a ride home. Please have a designated driver or carpool with other guests if necessary. Shuttles, Uber and Lyft are not widely available in our area & often have long wait times and we want you to make it home safely. What are my reception dinner options? We will have a buffet style dinner catered by BohAppetit where guests can pick what they want on their plates. Please be aware that we cannot guarantee that allergens may be present at our wedding. See the menu included with your invitation for food options.
How does the Bar work? We will have an open bar! Please tip our bartender if you are able, but please enjoy drinks on us! Also, please be sure to have departure plans ahead of time in case you are unable to drive. Our bartender will be checking ID prior to serving as required by PA law, so please bring your ID. Are kids welcome? We are only reserving kid guest spots for the little ones in our immediate family. If your child is invited, they will be named on your invitation. We love your littles but please plan your babysitters ahead of time. Enjoy a night off and come ready to party! Thank you for understanding. What is the order of events? We have not nailed all of our times down yet, as they are pending venue approval. We will have a displayed order of events on your arrival to the venue.
