Brittany & Adam's dads worked together, and his mom coached Lindsay's soccer team. The first time Brittany and Adam met, she was in the 6th grade, he in 7th. She remembers wearing her Abercrombie tee and jean skirt with glitter eyeliner (Adam thinks she should bring that back). The Sands family went over to the Gonzalez house for dinner, and Brit asked if she could borrow his computer to get on AOL Instant Messenger to talk to her friends (not Adam). Adam said he knew right then that Brittany would be an important part of his life. Adam and Brit were best friends through high school, college, and finally decided to give it a chance. As it's said, the rest is history.

Adam joined Brittany's family for a trip to England in June of 2018. Just four days after their 3 year anniversary, Adam proposed in Queen Mary's Rose Gardens before they saw 'Peter Pan' in the open air theatre.
