We are so excited to FINALLY celebrate with you!

The hallways of Georgetown Law. Brittany walks up to a group of her friends after class. There's a new face. It's Adam. He's telling them all about his most recent date, a DateLab set-up to be featured in the Washington Post. Adam quote "she was perfectly nice. but she's a vegan." They parted ways. Cut to several months later...

Summer associates in New York City. An all-you-can-eat Ice Cream festival, called "the Scooper Bowl." Another friend couldn't go last minute. Adam scooped in for her spot...

The Belfry (aka the greatest bar in New York). Taylor Swift blaring in the background. Adam and Brittany somehow find themselves sitting next to each other. The topic of college football comes up. Adam fell in love. Brittany was oblivious. Here's what some other attendees had to say about that night: Michael (Groomsman) to his now-fiancee Molly (Bridesmaid): "Brittany and Adam...its gonna HAPPEN." Paige (Bridesmaid) to Brittany the next morning: "Who was that guy last night?" Brittany: "What guy?" Paige: "The one you were flirting with all night." Brittany: "We were not flirting! He's just one of our law school friends." Paige: "Ok sure..." Brittany: "No, really. He’s definitely JUST a friend." Several months later when Brittany told Paige she had started dating Adam, Paige texted back "HA. I WIN."

Back in August 2017...Adam texts Brittany: Adam: "Yo. coming to bar review tonight?!? (this is when law students all go to the same bar and drink alcohol, not study for the bar) Brittany: "I don't think so. have some rose for me!" Adam: "Boo." Three months later...Adam finally gets up the courage to ask Brittany out for drinks. She has to reject him because she's going to Virginia Tech and college football > boys. Another few weeks go by. They finally make plans for a date. Brittany meets Adam on a Thursday evening after class at the Pod Hotel rooftop bar, Crimson View. Two years, two months, and a day later. Adam proposed on that very rooftop.

She said Yes.

With broken hearts, we postponed our original big celebration at Stone Tower due to COVID-19. Instead, we were married in an intimate ceremony at the house Brittany grew up in. The house her Dad designed with such love. It was a perfect day and so incredibly special. All that ever mattered was our love for each other and it was felt in every detail of our day. We felt so much love from those near and afar who tuned in! We missed you all and absolutely can't wait to finally celebrate big in 2022!
