It all started at the car show!! Jodeci was standing out with his crew when I pulled up. All I heard was someone saying that’s Brittany from Lambert. Everyone knows I’m smart mouth so I said, “who looking for Britt” and no one spoke up. After an hour or so passed by, me and my cousin (Nikkey) walked back to the car and I remember this like it was yesterday. My cousin gone say, “they said slick said come here, and I was like who is slick? So we got in the car and one of his homeboys walked over and was like, “my boy slick said what’s up? And I clearly told him, “your boy has a mouth and feet of his own!! His friend laugh and walked off. When he left I told my cousin to find a song so I can ride pass them with my windows down, and we did just that. The funny thing about that, is a car stopped right in front of us as soon as we got beside them. I didn’t care because I was looking cute that day. When I looked out the window, there he go, just staring and didn’t say nothing! So I drove on by. Let me remind you that the car show was in Sledge, MS and right before I made it to Darling here he go with the Facebook message talking about what’s up? I couldn’t believe it, but I was smiling and showing my cousin the message and yes I did respond. A week pass and he pulled up at my mom house with some grey joggers on and the first thing I said was, “why you didn’t get cute because my mom gone come outside. She did just that. Asking a million and one questions. Do you have kids? What about a car? What’s your mom name? Do you have a job? Had him nervous and all. Question after question!!! He didn’t mind he thought it was funny. Three months passed and we moved in together. I became to love how polite and shy he was. Jodeci always would laughed when we got around each other. He would say you always saying something funny and I would be so serious, but here we are today about to be husband and wife. Britt got her a good man and I’m his sugar to his sweet tooth!!

I always knew that love would come find me someday but never did I know that it would be you who was headed my way you caught me off guard and took me by surprise but you simply captivated me, the same way you do when I look into your eyes It's true that every good and perfect gift is from above you were presented to me as a beautiful gift full of humor, talent, intelligence, beauty and love "it isn't finding the perfect person but learning to see an imperfect person perfectly" we all have our flaws but when I view you through my eyes, perfection is all I see From when you laugh to when you're upset, I still love the little things you do especially hearing you laugh and seeing your nose wrinkle the same way mine does too coming into this relationship has been hard at times but we've made it through I know as long as we're on this journey together, there's nothing that we can't do. Sometimes I wonder if what we have is too good to be true too scared to get my heart broken and scared of the thought of losing you but in the end, I trust in the author and perfecter of what I believe because what we ask for in Him, we in return shall receive.
