Yes! We recognize that a Sunday ceremony is not very traditional. That being said - if you know either of us, you know we are the farthest people from traditional that you will ever meet! May 4th, or May the 4th (be with you) is a huge day in Star Wars culture, something that we are both large fans of! Because of this, we thought of no better day to get married than a day that holds significance for us both!
Ceremony will begin at 5:00pm. Guests are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes prior.
We have a room block reserved at the Drury Inn at 8540 I-40 West. For booking information please reach out to Michael or Brittany and we will send you the group room rate link! If the Drury Inn isn't your style, we highly recommend any of the hotels that are located off of Interstate 40 between Soncy Avenue and Western Street. We highly encourage our guests to look into lodging on the West side of town.
After talking it over, we have decided that we have way more things for our home than we could ever think about needing. While we embark on this incredible journey together, your love and support mean the world to us more than any gifts. If you'd like to contribute to our dreams, a monetary gift would be cherished as we build our life together. However, there is something more important to both of us that we would rather your monetary gifts go towards to benefit. At our ceremony, we will have a donation set up for the 100 Club of the Texas Panhandle, a charity which is near and dear to both of our hearts. Please find a brief synopsis from their website below to understand better what this amazing charity does. The 100 Club of the Texas Panhandle provides assistance at a moment’s notice. Without the brave men and women who risk their lives for our sake, our lives would be very different. That is why when tragedy strikes the 100 Club of the Texas Panhandle, a 501(c)(3) corporation, immediately responds with financial support as the budget allows, to help lessen the devastating effects. We realize money can never replace the loss or disability of a loved one, but funds can be extremely helpful in easing the financial burden associated with these tragic events. The 100 Club also provides life-protecting equipment and educational opportunities for firefighting and law enforcement agencies that cannot be secured through budgeted funds. As many of you may know, The 100 Club has greatly impacted Michael's life, and we want to do whatever small thing we can to repay them for their generosity.
