Hotel
**The Bride and Groom's family will be staying at the venue site on Saturday and Sunday night. PLEASE read through everything prior to booking.** The ceremony and reception are both located here and they have a bunch of glamping options to choose from. There is a bath house connected to the lodge where we can create a schedule for those who want to use that (our families will be staying in the lodge and it’s a short walk away from the lodging). They also have other indoor and outdoor showering options and fancy porta potties near the glamping sites. Rates are as follows, with the number of structures/type: 1 - Jesse Russell Cabin: Queen/twin, 2 beds, $299 1 - Issac Russell Cabin: Queen/Twin, 2 beds, $299 2 - Conestoga Wagon: Queen, 1 bed, $249 2 - Geodesic Dome: Queen, 1 bed, $249 1 - Geodesic Dome: Twin, 1 bed, $249 15 - Standard Tent or Tipi: Queen or 2 Q beds, $249 2 - King Tipi or Tent: King or 2 K beds, $249 6 - Standard Tent or Tipi: Twin, 2 beds, $229 4 - Tent Twin: 4 twin beds, $229 **There may be one more cabin available but we will not know until it gets closer because they are currently finishing it.** Lodging is reserved for our wedding guests until May 1st, 2024 and then it is up to the resort if they want to open up the additional reservations. They also have room for tent camping or RV parking if someone decides to go that route. If you do, please reach out and we will help get any info you need. The website has all info regarding lodging and food at the venue. Due to it being in a remote area with wilderness, animals, etc., the venue provides the meals during your stay. Those will be included as you checkout. Saturday night there will also be a bartender available. The only beverages you will "technically" be able to bring is water but if you stay in a cabin you could get away with having some other drinks, snacks, etc. Our family will be bringing snacks and beverages for our family and kiddos and are happy to share as it is needed.
Travel Note
Car Rental is your best way to go if you want to get out and explore during your stay. However, the venue also has shuttle options if you choose to stay and hang out on-site or there is a group of people who want to use it and are looking to go to a similar location. It is also an option for the night off the wedding if you decide to stay off-site somewhere and do not want to drive. Puma Hills also has access to activities on-site and other local activities (please see venue website) if you choose to take in the beautiful mountains and not rent a vehicle. Keep in mind that the venue is in a remote area and while you can occasionally grab an Uber or Lyft it is not something I would rely on for transportation. You would likely be able to take advantage of one of them for your ride to the venue and/or the place you choose to stay but could be difficult for your ride back. I do know Uber allows you to schedule pick-ups in advance but I do not know about Lyft. This, again, would not be my first choice so I would try to make sure you have a back-up if you choose to go this route.
Hotel
The lodge has turned into more of an Airbnb-style property with a few different types of lodging for families or groups of people who may want to stay in a place together. They are located lightly 25-30 min from the venue. They have a limited number of cabins and do not provide any discount. You’d also have the option to take advantage of the shuttle provided from the venue. Cost not included…. May split with others.
