Maid of Honor
Hi! I'm Jen from New York! Those are the first words I heard when I went to meet my neighbors during move in day freshman year of college. Since that fateful day in August of 2003, our friendship has only continued to grow and strengthen. We've shared many life experiences and stages together since then, and have continued a cherished lifelong friendship. I am so grateful to have you as "my person."
Best Man
I have had the pleasure of calling Chris my friend since the 5th grade. He let me be class president for one year in high school before taking over those duties. He has been leading me ever since. After college, Chris and I found ourselves back in Lancaster and needing a place of our own, so we decided to become roommates and lived together for three years before he encouraged me to purchase my first home. I've been lucky to have such a steadfast friend by my side for over twenty years.

Middle school is awkward, but it also leads to meeting some of your best friends. Cassandra is my 8th grade friendship treasure. We've seen each other through our adolescent years and have continued to support each other through the more confident adult years. Cassandra is the free spirited friend we all need to make life's journey full of fly dance moves and hip fashion.

I remember it like it was just yesterday.... I was a University of Richmond orientation advisor and Mike was a freshmen playing Dave Matthews Band on his guitar in the middle of the James river. It was love at first sight. Mike would later join my fraternity and we became fast friends. Mike's positive attitude, up for anything attitude and love of Phish have kept us close friends ever since.

Our beloved Bridgey. Charlie and Bridget have known each other since they were children at LCDS. I had the good fortune of meeting Bridget one weekend when Charlie invited us both on a hike with a few other friends. After a beautiful morning hike, Charlie had to leave for a family gathering. Bridget and I decided the fun must continue on this gorgeous day and we decided to head downtown together to grab a post hike beer. This afternoon affectionately known as our "first date" continued well into the evening and eventually prompted Charlie to meet back up with us after experiencing serious FOMO. She has been there along side of us since the beginning of our relationship, and has been cheering on our love ever since!

I have known Pat since the beginning of college, but our friendship blossomed our Junior year when we decided to become roommates. We became such close friends that we were synonymous with one another and even had a short ditty written about us: "Walp and Drago, living together Gettin' into high jinks, but makin' it work" We have remained close friends since college and still spend hours on the phone catching up and long weekends traveling to see music. He is one of my closest confidantes and I can always count on him to give me honest feedback.

My brother hit the jackpot when he married Amanda. And I get to thank him for bringing such a wonderful "sister" into my life. I don't remember when we first met, but I'm so happy you decided my little brother was a match for you! I’ve loved having you as a part of our family, and including us as part of yours. I can’t wait for all of the family memories we’ll continue to make!

Ryan and I grew up playing golf together at Conestoga, but Ryan went to Lancaster Catholic and I went to Lancaster Country Day so we didn't spend much time together outside of golf. Fast forward to when we both moved back to Lancaster after college and we quickly became friends. Ryan and I became even closer friends when we both bought our houses a block from each other. Ryan has always been trail blazer and introduced me to a portion of Lancaster County I had yet to explore. I know I can always rely on Ryan for a good recipe or recommendation on a tasty cheese.

I was first introduced to Lisa at a family gathering during Labor Day weekend after Charlie and I had started dating. I will admit I was a tad nervous for our initial meeting as her approval was important to me. Thankfully Lisa has welcomed me into the Walp family from the beginning. I look forward to continuing and starting new family traditions with you all and spending every third week of July at TLV!

It's always a little anxiety inducing meeting your girlfriend's family for the first time. What if they don't like you or you don't like them?! Thankfully, I felt right at home when I met the Krotzers and Kyle treated me like family from the moment I met him. We have continued to grow our friendship and uncover more common interests. I can't wait for all of our future family outings together and shared book recommendations throughout the years.

Our first meeting was likely in the nursery at York Hospital in 1985. Having been born only 2 days apart, our paths likely crossed back then (or at least that's the story we like to believe). We spent the rest of childhood at the same schools but didn't discover the great friendship we'd share until high school. Since then, we've continued to celebrate many birthdays together in Taurus fashion, shared countless lunch dates at Isaac's, and jammed out together in our cars and the more preferred concert venue.

I have known Andrew since 1st grade when I was the "new" kid at school. We have grown up together and spent countless hours on the golf course. Andrew's parents have always been an integral part of my life and even though he grew up in Reading we always spent weekends at each others houses. Andrew lives in NYC with his wife Emily and son Drew, yet we still manage to talk every day and argue about the fate of Philadelphia sports. It's hard to imagine these past 27 years without Andrew and I still count myself lucky to have him as a friend.

Emily and her friendship are what I consider my best Craig’s list find ever! During my last year of grad school, I needed to find a new apartment with roommates. She advertised for a new housemate and our friendship has continued to blossom ever since. We’ve moved many miles apart since that year, but I treasure the visits we share a few times each year, and our almost annual finger lakes trip and rainy camping adventures. Thanks for always saying yes to activities, even when it’s running a half marathon in the snowsquall in May!

Matt and his family have been an extended portion of my family since they moved to Lancaster the summer before 6th grade. Matt's dad had just become our head of school and everyone wanted to befriend the new kid in our class of 45 students. My mom had heard that Matt played golf, so the father's and sons met up to play. While the younger generation has the talent the older generation taught us that strokes and experience still bring home the money. I am extremely lucky to have had Matt and his family move to Lancaster because I can't imagine my childhood without them.

I remember when my sister brought Brian home over Memorial Day weekend to meet the family for the first time. I didn't know what to expect and I am sure Brian was nervous and hoping to make a good impression. Brian and I seemed to share a lot of the same interests and I could tell immediately how happy he made my sister. Brian became a part of my family in 2015 when he married my sister, Lisa. I feel lucky to have Brian as a part of our family and it has been a joy to see him be a husband to my sister and a father to my nephew. I could not have asked for a better brother-in-law and our whole family feels lucky to have all of the Romanos as part of our extended family!

This little dude made Brittany an auntie for the first time 3 years ago. He was also very fond of Uncle Chi Chi from the beginning and loves to spend time with him. We can’t wait for you to share our special day with us!

This sweet guy made Charlie an uncle for the first time 2 years ago. The day he was born, Uncle Charlie was so excited about his impending arrival that he was texting Aunt B all morning with every detail and picture as he was receiving them. It’s been so fun watching you grow, and we’re so excited for you to celebrate our wedding day with us!
