It all started with a pinky promise.. Bryce and I had been on and off flirting while working together at AFW, not exactly sure about one another. I asked Bryce out for drinks one night after I had officially put in my two weeks; I technically owed him for giving him such a hard time about losing so badly at a work triathlon. We met at Hacienda Del Rio in Old Folsom, neither of us knowing if it was a date, or just two people drinking. We both had already eaten before meeting up, however, we both still ordered dinner and picked away at our plates. To say we were equally nervous would be so accurate! After eating, or lack there of, we made our way to the bar. One thing lead to another, we bar hopped all night and had the best time. It finally came down to the end of the night and we were finishing up our drinks at our last stop. I couldn't even tell you what we were talking about, but whatever it was lead me into showing Bryce how to "properly" pinky promise someone. That pinky promise ended with a kiss and almost four years later, here we are. Best. Kiss. Ever.

When Bryce's mom came into town to visit for the weekend, my Mom and I took the opportunity to introduce Kris to the remaining people in my life she had not yet met. We all got together at this cute place on the river for brunch, full of laughs and giggles from all the kids running around. We all went out to take photos by the water and next thing I know, Braxton is pulling a ring box out of his little pants pockets, while Bryce is trying to muster up his proposal speech, inching down to one knee. I pouted and cried out of pure joy, followed by jumping and screaming; I said "YES". Truly, the best day ever! We are so excited to celebrate with you all!
