How We Met

On Wednesday, January 29th, 2018; Brittanie rolled into her late night shift at a bar in Waterloo, IA. Brady happened to be in town, training for work. After a few flirtatious looks and pick up lines, Brady asked Brittanie if she had any land in Iowa. Completely confused, Brittanie answered "no." Well, that lost Brittanie some brownie points, but Brady didn't give up. He was sure to get Brittanie's contact information, and even played a special song for her during karaoke. That song? Back That Azz Up by Juvenile. At the end of the night, and several Busch Lights later; Brady needed a ride back to his hotel. Brittanie offered to get Brady an Uber only if he was sure to tip her well, on his tab. Brady walked out of the bar 15 minutes later with a $3.00 tip on a $85 tab. Now, Brady lost some brownie points there, but Brittanie didn't give up either.
After that night, Brady reached out to Brittanie and they sparked an easy conversation that never seemed to stop. Brady just so happened to have training the following week in Iowa again, and made sure to see his future bride. During a January snow storm, he spent all night with Brittanie at the other bar she worked at. They spent all night getting to know one another; sharing stories, playing pool, and trying to show up the other on their jukebox choices. This night, Brady made it to bar close, and tipped appropriately, and Brittanie was able to give him a ride to his hotel.

Boyfriend and Girlfriend

Brady and Brittanie's feelings grew wildly for one another and they were making every attempt to see each other as much as possible. The night before Brittanie made her first trip to Minnesota, Brady made a surprise trip to Iowa, just to have a quick dinner and be on the road back to Minnesota for work in the morning. Brittanie's first trip to Minnesota was during a horrible March blizzard. If the efforts they made to see each other doesn't show their fate, I don't know what will.
From then on, the adventures never stopped. Brady and Brittanie have made several memories during their relationship. Bringing Brady's son, Brennen, into Brittanie's life; being one of the best parts of it. Their time has been spent hunting, fishing, razr riding, and spending lots of time with family and friends.

The Proposal

On February 6th, 2021, while Brittanie was out shopping wirh her friends, Brady snuck away and purchased the ring. It was there, right outside the jewerly store, that Brady got Brittanie’s mother’s permission to marry. Brady quickly realized he would not be able to keep such a secret from his future bride. He knew he couldn’t wait another day. They had prior arrangements for the evening so Brady had to act quick. Brittanie came home to find Brady in his shop, pretend working, of course. He kindly asked her to grab somethiny from the opposite side of his service truck. Once she returned, he was down on his knee. From there, there isnt much to be said as Brittanie just screamed and cried while Brady mumbled and cried. It is to be believed that she said “yes.”
