Nothing screams romance more than a guy sliding into the DM's. Travis knew that was the only way to get my attention as we have never met prior, but he saw me on a friends instagram and shot his shot. On a late winter day, I received a message from Travis attempting some small talk about my insta story. I appeased him and moved on, but he was persistent and eventually asked me on a date. Of course, I responded sweetly and said "I don't even know who you are." Travis is lucky because after talking with my friend Christie, she told me how out of character that was and said he was a good guy. So, I went on the date and then proceeded to tell him I am moving to Boston in a month for a travel nurse job. That did not stop Travis. He continued to ask me on dates and then eventually asked to visit me in Boston. So, Travis made the journey to Boston and that trip just really sealed the deal for me. I always wanted someone consistent and persistent and Travis was just that. He showed up and always showed support. I continued to travel nurse and he continued to visit. Eventually, I made the move to Denver to be closer and to see if we had long term potential. The rest is history! We have been living in Denver together for the last 4 years. During our time in Denver we have moved in with each other, adopted a dog, changed jobs, and traveled all over Colorado. Now we are ready to take the next big step and officially become a family. We are excited to celebrate our love story with our closest family and friends!
