We're Getting Married!

A Mohican camping trip with mutual friends is what started it all! Not long after, Colton offered to pick Brittani up for their first date. Being the over-thinker she is, she refused to ride with Colton and drove herself to miniature golf and kayaking due to the worry of being "kidnapped." After many dates and Brittani buying her grandfather's house, Colton must have known they were meant to be because he asked to move in with her. He offered his skills to help renovate and convinced Brittani to buy a couch, get new carpeting, paint, and completely remodel the kitchen. A new window, a door frame, and countertops is all that is left to complete the kitchen. Skip forward 3 years, the two decided they had to have a puppy! Against everyone suggesting they wait because they both love to travel, hike, and kayak, they randomly went to One of a Kind Pets to "just look". While playing and holding a puppy named Fireball, this cute little guy that had a white spot on one of his paws kept staring at them through his cage. As soon as Brittani held him, she knew she was taking him home. The couple named him Jäger and they found out that he was born on 12/21/23, the date Colton had proposed to Brittani! The proposal: Brittani felt Colton was being a bit odd that day, maybe he's going to propose? No that would be crazy because she was still bruised and puffy from getting her wisdom teeth removed. She was still so excited to meet him at Lock3 ice skating rink that night. Colton planned a special proposal making sure to pick a bench right in front of the huge, beautiful Christmas tree, a photographer, and the couple's closest family and friends to be part of the special moment. Pretending his foot was hurt, the couple got off the ice and began to go sit on the bench. As Colton was moving the construction cones placed by the facility to save the spot, he suddenly turned, got down on one knee (his bad knee btw) and proposed!
