We are getting married!

As many of you would not be shocked by, Casey and Brittani met in the most romantic way possible...in an MBA accounting class. The two had heard of each other previously through mutual friends at business school but had not had the chance to talk until Casey responded instantly to Brittani's slack request to get an accounting group together. Ever since that message, Brittani and Casey became very close friends. They would talk for hours over Facetime or text. Brittani and Casey finally met in person at a mutual friend's birthday party, but they did not start to date until a few months later. Then came the infamous story of how Casey asked Brittani on a date, and Brittani did not realize it was a date at first. Luckily, she still said yes when she finally realized! Ever since their first date, Brittani and Casey knew it was meant to be. They are often told by family and friends how they completely match each other's sense of goofiness and love for conversation (talking 24/7). Even long distance couldn't keep them apart. And now they are so excited to marry each other and have you all as a part of their special day!

Casey had been extensively planning the proposal for months. He even went as far as planning a fully refundable flight to "pick up the ring in Los Angeles" in order to throw Brittani off. Casey brought Brittani to the area on the river in front of Gibson's Italia. As soon as they got to the top of the stairs, they saw a photographer who asked if they could stand in for a couple that he was going to be photographing. Brittani initially resisted as she does not love being in pictures, but she ultimately agreed to stand in. However, the photographer was actually hired by Casey and as soon as the first picture was taken, Casey got down on one knee and asked Brittani to marry him. The rest of the night was absolutely perfect as Casey planned for the pair to be surrounded by the love of family and friends!
