We're so excited to share a few of our favorite DC spots with you!
National Museum of African American History and Culture

National Museum of African American History and Culture

1400 Constitution Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20560

We LOVE this museum! We highly suggest that you add it to your list and please make sure that you get your free timed-entry passes in advance. It's a very popular museum so they do not offer passes on site. You should also give yourself at least 4 hours to go through most of the museum, it's an incredibly moving place with a ton of fascinating artifacts. We hope that you visit this amazing place!

Go to a Baseball game at Nationals Park!

Go to a Baseball game at Nationals Park!

1500 South Capitol Street Southeast, Washington, DC 20003

We are big baseball fans! The Washington Nationals will be playing the Seattle Mariners throughout our wedding weekend so if you love baseball (like we do) we hope that you will catch a game on Saturday or Sunday.

Union Market

Union Market

1309 5th Street Northeast, Washington, DC 20002

More than 35 independent merchants and purveyors of food and drink operate within the Market, alongside a unique mix of small businesses, nationally recognized retail brands and highly rated restaurants located throughout the broader Union Market District. There is also an open-air rooftop bar with 360-degree city views!

Smithsonian National Zoological Park

Smithsonian National Zoological Park

3001 Connecticut Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20008

Everybody loves the Zoo! The National Zoo is truly an amazing place - with Giant pandas, elephants, tigers, orangutans, and so much more. Entry is always free and always a blast!

Eastern Market

Eastern Market

225 7th Street Southeast, Washington, DC 20003

The Eastern Market is a great place for fresh food and delicious treats! On the weekends, many vendors offer local farm-fresh produce and handmade arts and crafts.

Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum

Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum

600 Independence Avenue Southwest, Washington, DC 20560

Both a childhood and adulthood favorite for the both of us! The Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum has the largest and most significant collection of aviation and space artifacts in the world. Please make sure that you get your free timed-entry passes in advance. We hope that you get a chance to explore the stars!

The Wharf DC

The Wharf DC

760 Maine Avenue Southwest, Washington, DC 20024

We love to walk around the water's edge, especially at night! The Wharf has over 80 shops and restaurants, the Anthem (Concert Hall), and several hotels. There are also many exciting festivals, events, and free outdoor concerts throughout the year!

United States Botanic Garden

United States Botanic Garden

100 Maryland Avenue Southwest, Washington, DC 20001

Fun Fact: It is the oldest continually-operating botanic garden in the United States! Admission to the U.S. Botanic Garden is free.
