Yes, unfortunately the original wedding date fell in the window of the mandated shutdown of many locations. The wedding has been re-scheduled for July 24, 2020 and we hope that you can all make it. At this time, Montgomery County has mandated that no more than 10 people gather per event. Pine Lake Ranch is closely monitoring official guidance from local government and health authorities and will continuously provide updates. The wedding venue is working actively to ensure that they comply with CDC guidelines and they have the health of guests and their staff as a top priority.
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you.
We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! We’ve already made sure that the invitation shows additional guests for those who absolutely must bring their children. If your children must attend, there will be a kids zone area with games and activities during the reception. Children must always be monitored in or around the lake, oak tree and surrounding areas. You are solely responsible for providing adult supervision to your children. No unsupervised children are allowed in the Bridal House or Groom's Suite.
We are happy that you want to share our wedding with your new beau, but if your invitation does not say “and Guest,”, we would prefer if it was just you.

Traditionally, you would not wear white. White and ivory should be left for the bride. Of course, you can wear a dress with some white in it, or have white somewhere within your outfit, but you shouldn't plan to show up wearing an all-white ensemble.
We have tried to make it easy for guests to purchase gifts or make cash contributes to our newlywed fund at "Our Registry" located on the wedding website page. There will also be a card box and gift table available in the reception area.

A general rule of thumb is to arrive 15-30 minutes before the time it states on the wedding invitation. Of course you'll want to give yourself plenty of time to account for traffic or to enjoy a refreshment.
You will have the option to respond by both mail or online. We look forward to seeing you and want to plan accordingly so if you are able to join us or, if you cannot, your RSVP is very important to us.
Yes, wedding parking attendants will help guide you to the right parking location.

The wedding ceremony will take place under a breath-taking majestic live oak tree that stands deeply rooted in the center of the 25-acre facility. An amazing stocked lake for catch and release fishing will be available to guests who wish to bring along their fishing gear before the start of the ceremony. Prior to the ceremony, the open air corral will be available for cocktails and/or enjoying games, or music. Guests will then join us in the reception barn with plenty of floor space for dancing the night away.
Alejandro Mireles (Alex) of Sierra Catering has the knowledge and 14 years of experience in the catering industry. His menu will provide your choice of Pork Tenderloin (stuffed with goat cheese and spinach bacon wrapped), Chicken Cordon Bleu (stuffed with mozzarella and ham), or London Broil served with grilled vegetables or asparagus parmesan and pesto pasta. If you have any dietary restrictions or are vegan/vegetarian please indicate so on your RSVP.
We would love to accommodate our guests dietary restrictions or food choices so we have catering options to allow you to pick and choose what works for you. Please indicate any special needs on your RSVP.
Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #KreigratulationsB&C so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
Wish we could party until the sun comes up, however the event must end no later than 11:45 pm. This doesn't mean that we can't enjoy the night at an after party. Please check our schedule page to see if an after party is planned.
The best person to contact prior to the wedding is the Maid of Honor, Catie Moss. She would prefer to communicate via email at catiemmoss@gmail.com. You can also text or call the Bride at 661-269-6430. To avoid delaying any of the scheduled preparation needed prior to the ceremony please refrain from contacting the bride the day of the wedding. If you need any guidance the wedding coordinator Kathy Bernish, 936-777-4130, will be happy to help you.
In this time of the year, days become warm, hot and really long, while nights in this season are the shortest. Sun shines so bright and everything around is whispering to go outdoors!. Weather is always a wild card, but you can be more prepared by knowing the typical weather during the month of July in the Montgomery area is generally hot and humid. The weather prediction for July 24th shows to be in the mid 90's and in past history rain fall shows to be clear skies during this calendar date. Even though it appears to be a clear warm Texas summer day you probably want to track weather predictions closer to the wedding date and prepare for rain or shine. This part of Texas experiences extreme seasonal variation in the perceived humidity. The muggier period of the year lasts for 6.4 months, from April 12 to October 24, during which time it could be a little bit uncomfortable.
After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby. Guests can head straight to the reception barn or open corral where we will be serving finger foods and beverages.
The only theme for this wedding is to have a wonderful time!
Of course we would love to include everyone in all of the upcoming events planned prior to the wedding but realistically because not everyone is available to travel we completely understand. However, if you do decide to attend the bridal shower, bachelorette/bachelor party and brunch please check out our "Scedule" page for all the info you need.
You will definitely be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no” so we can plan accordingly.
Partially, the grounds could be difficult to maneuver a wheelchair because parking is mostly gravel and the ceremony and open corral are grass. Restrooms are wheelchair accessible as well as the reception barn. It may be a little tight at the dinner table if you are in a wheelchair so please let the wedding coordinator know if we need to remove chairs or relocate your seat in order to make you feel comfortable.
Flower arrangements are available for our guests to take home with them. Unfortunately any decor other than the flower arrangements belong to the wedding planner/decorator and are not available for guests to take home. In addition, wedding favors will also be provided as a "Thank You" for joining our celebration.
Yes, song requests are allowed but we do hope that you enjoy the song list that was provided to the DJ.
