We first met in elementary school, but it was in middle school that a true friendship began. Over the years, our bond grew through shared friendships, the same church community, and a constant presence in one another’s lives. No matter where life led us, we remained close, supporting one another, cheering each other on, and staying connected through countless FaceTimes and long conversations. For many years, we walked our own paths while remaining best friends. After high school, we both moved to Arizona, and in May of 2023, life brought us back into one another’s daily lives in a new way. As we began spending more time together, it became clear that God had been preparing our hearts all along and we could not imagine doing life without each other. Our relationship is grounded in honesty, deep trust, and a friendship that came first. We are each other’s safe place, greatest support, and favorite person to come home to. With faith at the center of our relationship, we are grateful for God’s perfect timing and the journey that led us here. In May of 2025, we moved our life together back to Washington, where we are building a future rooted in the things we love most. From fishing and spending time outdoors to making memories with family and friends, we are so thankful to be surrounded by the people and places that feel like home. As we prepare to be married, we are incredibly excited to begin this next chapter together and to celebrate with all of our favorite people. Planning a wedding that brings together the family and friends who have loved and supported us along the way means the world to us, and we cannot wait to share this day with you.

On August 29, 2025, Jared planned what I thought was a simple date night, one of those ordinary moments that turned into something extraordinary. On our way, we were suddenly interrupted by a call from my mom. She said she was at her neighbor’s house and there was a major leak in the kitchen, water pouring everywhere, and she needed Jared to come help turn it off. Without hesitation, he changed course. But when we arrived, there was no leak at all. Instead, I was met with the most breathtaking surprise. A path of flower petals led us to a gazebo glowing with candlelight, surrounded by champagne, endless flowers, and the soft sound of a country love song playing in the background. It felt like a dream. In that quiet, magical moment, Jared asked me to be his wife and to spend forever with him. I was completely overwhelmed with emotion, happy tears, disbelief, and so much love all at once. Soon after, our families arrived, and the rest of the evening was spent celebrating with the people we love most. It was a night filled with joy, laughter, and the beginning of our forever, one we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
