The Houston Wedding 2019~

Joseph and Brittane met at Huntington High School in Shreveport, Louisiana. Joseph saw Brittane in a class they had together and asked her cousin, Tiffany Alexander, to "fix them up". Between her dance practice and his band practice after school, they talked and became friends. Joseph soon asked Brittane to be his girlfriend. And so, the love story began.

The proposal took place July 7, 2018 at the closing of Breelynn's first birthday party in Fort Worth, Texas. Early the morning of the party Joseph suggested to Brittane, "Wear Something Nice!". As the festivities closed, family and friends were surprised when Joseph grabbed Brittane's hand. Busy tidying up, Brittane did not have any clue as to what was taking place. Once everyone realized what was happening, Brittane came to the realization as well. Joseph grabbed Brittane's hands, kneeled on one knee, and said, "I Love You, you've been rocking' with me for a long time, you are a great mother to our kids, will You Marry Me?" Brittane stated, "Wait, my nails aren't done". After much laughter and "awwhhs", Brittane said, "Yes". She's glad she wore "something nice".
