Golf

1300 10 Mile Drive, Granby, CO 80446
, (970) 887-9122

Grand Elk golf course typically opens around mid-April. Conditions will certainly be weather dependent, but if it's a dry April and skiing doesn't look so great, golf will be an awesome option at low shoulder season rates!

Berthoud Falls (Cascading Waterfall)

39.7841530, -105.7837430, Berthoud Falls, CO 80468

This is a little scenic stop on the way to/from Devil's Thumb Ranch. It's a .1 mile hike off US-40 to see a waterfall! Be sure to read all of the details in the link as the parking area is right off the highway. Be aware of all safety recommendations.

Idaho Springs

1518 Miner St, Idaho Springs, CO 80452

Idaho Springs is a great place to stop for lunch when travelling to and from the mountains. The historic main street is vibrant with shops, restaurants and bars. It's a historic mining town where the gold mining boom in the west started, there are gold mining tours if you wanted to see how the old timers mined gold in the 1800's. https://thisisidahosprings.com/gold-mine-idaho-springs/ https://www.colorado.com/downtown-idaho-springs-shops
