The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat. NOTE: It is a State Park. Please wear or bring extra (comfortable) shoes with you!
February, in Ocala, is a moderately hot month, with average temperature ranging between min 47.5°F (8.6°C) and max 74.5°F (23.6°C). Bring a jacket to be safe!
The ceremony and reception will be taking place at the Twin Oaks Stage located in Silver Springs State Park. It is an open-air mansion stage with a southern plantation feel that overlooks the expansive Twin Oaks lawn.
Parking is free. Please note that parking is 1,700 to 3,000 feet away from the rented space. There can be rough terrain and uneven walkways along the way. Special accommodation can be made for those with limited mobility or health issues.
State Park admission for all guests have been paid for. A staff member at the ticket booth can help guide you in the right direction. Just mention our wedding! Note: the Glass Bottom Boat tour is not included. If you would like a tour, contact me. I would be able to get you a discounted rate!
We welcome children to join us in celebrating our wedding day! Please let us know if yours will be attending so we can organize enough fun entertainment for them.
Food and drinks will be served. We still haven't decided on what will be served. Considering Cuban/Italian Dishes, our favorites!
Yes! If you're 21+ please let me know personally if you prefer beer, wine, or liquor. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the State Park unless provided by the vendor on site. It is important that I get a head count because I have to purchase per person, per hour.
