IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

Answer

Yes, Cocktail Attire. For women, cocktail dresses, formal jumpsuits, tea length dresses are appropriate. For men, a suit and tie.

WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT GETTING TO THE GADSDEN HOUSE?

Answer

Guests are encouraged to enter the property through private gates located at 38 Alexander Street. Most guests walk, Uber or Lyft but there is ample city metered parking located at 38 Alexander Street + a city garage located at 33 Alexander Street.

WHAT'S THE WEATHER LIKE IN CHARLESTON?

Answer

The weather in Charleston is mild in November! During the day, it stays around the low to mid 70s and it can drop down to the mid 50s in the evenings. We recommend bringing a sweater or jacket just in case it gets chilly in the evening!

WILL THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be outdoors, while the cocktail hour will take place inside.
