Ronna Jean, as Britt so loving calls her, is not only her mom but also her very best friend, they talk daily, sometimes more, and let's be honest, they've been planning this wedding before Matt was even in the picture.

Tom and Matt met in 2010 when they worked for the same EMS agency in State College, Pa. In 2013, Tom moved to Carlisle, PA, for work. It just so happened that Matt ended up moving to Carlisle in 2014 for law school. Needing a roommate, Tom was a natural choice. While Tom may disagree, Matt believes he is the best roommate ever. Whether it was trips to Ocean City, weekends in DC, drag shows, or almost running out of gas on a trip back from New York, Tom and Matt are always having a good time.

Britt and Katelyn have been friends since high school. They have been through the best and the worst parts of growing up together. Most recently Britt had the honor of being Kateyln's Maid of Honor. Katelyn is the friend that is always there to build you up and make you laugh, and Katelyn's signature giggle is a favorite in the Merson family. Couldn't even imagine doing a wedding without you, Kateyln!

Cole and Matt met in 2016 after Tom dragged Matt to their favorite bar (RIP Anthony’s) to meet a new guy Tom was “talking to.” Soon after, Tom and Cole started dating. About a year later, Cole moved in with Matt, Tom, and Tom’s sassy cat Bonnie. Cole and Matt have the most interesting conversations, usually involving philosophy, politics, their favorite conspiracy theory (birds are drones), or the latest meme they have found.

Britt and Biz met at work. Their hospital nights together were always entertaining and typically filled with shenanigans and lots of snacks. They're both only children and they quickly formed a bond that is more like family than friends. They even ensured their parents became friends so they could go on family vacations together. Biz is the friend that thinks of everything and is always there for the big moments as well as the little ones (couch days were always a favorite). Biz will also always tell you EXACTLY how it is and takes control when necessary, which is why I couldn't imagine planning a wedding without her.

Matt and Dan met in their first year of law school. In their third year of law school, Dan had the idea to create a pollinator garden on the Widener University campus. Lovingly referred to as "The Butterfly Garden," this is a project that they still work on together to this day, with frequent clearings and plantings. Dan was the first person to take Matt to the Kinzua Bridge in Mount Jewett, Pa. A place that Matt and Britt have frequently visited and showed off to other friends and family.

Britt and Britni met in nursing school and somehow managed to find the time to become friends! Going through the most stressful time in your life really brings ya together. Twelve years later and Britni is that friend that is always on your side, always there to chat, and always your number one hype woman. I'm so happy to have her beside me on my wedding day!
John Bennett

John and Matt met during their first year of law school. They were latered partnered in their sustainability seminar in their third year of law school. John was the first group partner that did not let Matt down. John and Matt have a passion for good beer and liquor. John was the first friend Matt told about Britt over drinks at Tröges.

Her name is Betty, But everyone calls her Nanny. If you think Britt is sassy, just wait until you meet Nanny! Flower girls are fun and all but I have a suspicion Flower Nannys are even more fun. It was important that Britt find a way to include her nanny in the festivities so flower nanny it is!

That's right....Britt's dad is officiating. As soon as we started wedding planning we knew we wanted Brian to officiate. Brian got ordained online a few years ago and has since officiated several weddings for friends. This was a no-brainer, of course, he's going to officiate ours! Britt's already making bets on who cries more, her or her dad.

Matthew Is Britt's youngest cousin and for a fun, but brief stint, they were even roommates. Matthew has always been special to Britt, and it wouldn't feel right not to include him in her wedding.
