What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding attire is Black Tie Preferred. Ladies, a nice floor-length gown or formal cocktail dress is perfect and gentlemen are welcome to wear a tuxedo or dark suit and tie.

When should I RSVP?

Answer

If you are able to RSVP when you receive your invitation - that is great and very helpful! Our last day to RSVP is August 24, 2024.

Transportation

Answer

For guests staying in our hotel blocks, there will be a shuttle to transport you to Holy Rosary Church for our ceremony and back. The shuttle will depart from the CVS sign (804 Maine Avenue, SW, Washington, D.C.) which is next to the InterContinental at The Wharf, at 4:25pm sharp. Please note shuttles going to Holy Rosary are reserved for those staying in our hotel blocks only. For guests who are not staying the night, there is plenty of street parking available at Holy Rosary and there will be complimentary valet parking at the reception. There will be a shuttle for all guests without cars from the ceremony to the reception.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony meaning that we are asking that all cell phones be put away. We have hired a professional photographer to capture some of the most important moments of our lives. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you want! We promise to share the ceremony photos once we receive them.

Our wedding is an adult only event. We please ask that you make arrangements for your children so we can celebrate with you!
