FLYING IN We suggest any out of town guests fly into the San Diego airport and rent a car to drive the 90 miles (about 1.5 hours) to Valle de Guadalupe. DRIVING FROM LOS ANGELES & SAN DIEGO Valle de Guadalupe is about a 3.5 hour drive South from Los Angeles and about 90 minutes from San Diego. When driving into Mexico, we recommend crossing the border at Tecate and taking Highway 3 South to the valle. The drive is more scenic/avoids border wait times when entering through Tijuana/ San Ysidro. Google Maps will recommend the Tijuana route, but we recommend forgoing it for the Tecate Port of Entry. When heading North after the wedding, the Tecate Port of Entry border crossing tends to be MUCH faster than reentering via Tijuana. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS Make sure your passport is valid and will not expire within 6 months of your travel date. HOTEL The Valle de Guadalupe is a very popular weekend destination so be sure to make accommodations soon if you plan on coming!
