We met at Brick House Bar and Grill after the Eagles home opener in 2018. I didn't want to go but thought, "Eh I'll go for a little while." As soon as I walked in, we both noticed one another. We both decided to stay for a while longer. The bar was closing but we didn't want to leave each other. We sat out front talking for hours until the sun came up. We went on our first date a week later and the rest is history. "A guy walks into a bar, orders a drink. Sees a girl that catches his eye. Asks her if she wants another, they fall for each other and up lovers." -Tyler Farr
Brittany and Brian, along with their firehouse family, had a winter weekend away in the Poconos planned. Britt had a feeling a proposal was coming soon but thought, “he’ll never get down on one knee in front of all of these people, he’s more of a private person.” Plus, we had a weekend full of activities planned, no way would there be any time for a proposal. Saturday morning, Britt and the girls took off for a morning at the spa. After we got back to the house we all enjoyed some drinks, food and games in the basement! Our good friend Bill then says, “As a thank you to the girls for cooking us dinner and planning this whole weekend, us guys have a little surprise for you all….. BUT everyone has to put on a blindfold and come outside.” As it was 20 degrees outside, there was much confusion (by britt, as everyone else knew the plan). The guys put blindfolds on us girls and we began a walk outside. Little did Britt know that as soon as her blindfold went on, everyone else’s came off. We walked to the frozen, beautiful beach, where there was a heart made of candles, rose petals, a gorgeous sunset (Britt’s favorite) and Brian down on one knee. Obviously the answer was YES!!
