Question

Is the Ceremony & Reception Indoor or Outdoor?

Answer

Both are indoors. Due to the smaller size of the dairy barn, the ceremony will be moved to the exhibit hall along with the reception to keep with social distancing guidelines.

Can I take photos/video and or post them to social media.

Answer

We ask that our ceremony remain camera free other than our photographer, but the reception you are more than welcome to take photos to share. Be sure to use our hashtags so that we can see them too. #thisisnotafluke #fallinlovewiththeflukingers

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We now have a reduced guest limit of 100 people, due to Covid-19. We ask that unless your invite includes a +1, please do not bring a date. (If you’re uncertain of who’s included on your invite, simply search your name when you RSVP and it’ll include how many additional guests you’re allowed.)

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes we do! We reserved a block of rooms at: Comfort Suites Columbia River 3420 Leif Erickson Dr Astoria OR 97103 When calling let them know you are with the “Flukinger Wedding” or give our Wedding Date and you will be able to book your room. Room cost is $109 w/ out tax

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we would love to have your little ones attend, our guest list has been cut back due to Covid-19 and we are limiting the children that are attending, to our immediately family children only. As the wedding approaches and RSVP’s roll in, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us as we may have some guests decline and we may be able to accommodate additional guests.

How is dinner being served?

Answer

We are doing a buffet style for dinner. We will call our guests up one to two tables at a time to get their food so we can mantain social distancing. We ask that you use the serving tools provided to grab any foods and not grab anything with your bare hands.

Are mask/face coverings required?

Answer

Yes, our county does have a mandatory mask rule in place. Guests are to wear their masks when not sitting to eat or drink. If this changes in the future we will update this as needed. *There will not be someone present to monitor/police this rule Updated on 7/30/20

Question

Will there be any Vegan/Gluten/Special Dietary options?

Answer

There are not specific Vegan options available, however we do plan on having a salad bar at dinner. Same goes for Gluten Free options, with the exception of the meats that will be smoked. There will be a couple pie options available during the cake cutting ceremony that are Gluten Free.
