What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The venue will be open to guests starting at 5:00pm. The ceremony will start at 5:30pm.

Where should I park?

Answer

Strongwater owns both the gravel lots just west of the building in addition to the concrete slab located behind BrewDog. Guests can also park in open spaces on Lucas Street.

Will the event be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors in the courtyard (30 minutes max). The cocktail hour, dinner and reception will be indoors.

What should I wear?

Answer

Summer cocktail attire or "semi-formal". For example, midi dresses, suits, jumpsuits, etc.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

We'll be serving light hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour (6:00pm - 7:00pm), followed by a buffet dinner.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, to allow all of our guests, including parents, a night of fun and relaxation, we respectfully ask that you make childcare arrangements for your infants and toddlers. School-age children are welcome to attend with adult supervision.

What hotels do you recommend?

Answer

The Courtyard by Marriott and Hyatt Place in Grandview (on Yard St) both offer free parking and are just a 5 minute drive to our wedding venue. If both are sold out, the Aloft on Olentangy River Rd is another great nearby option. There is an anime convention at the Greater Columbus Convention Center the same weekend, so we do not recommend staying downtown.
