WILL WE NEED A RENTAL CAR?

Answer

It is up to you! A car rental is ideal so you can explore Colorado while you are here, but an Uber to the mountains is reasonable! Ourselves and our family and friends would be happy to rideshare or pick anyone up if a rental is not desired! Denver International Airport (DIA) is 1 hr 1 min (51.5 mi) from The Barn at Evergreen Memorial Park.

WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS FOR STAYING IN THE AREA?

Answer

There are great options in the surrounding areas to stay. It is absolutely beautiful in the mountains and the wedding is not too far from Morrison, Boulder, and Denver, Colorado. Under our travel tab at the top of this page are some hotel options that our venue has recommended. There are a lot of fun airbnbs, VRBOs, & more hotels, as well!

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?

Answer

On Average, the weather is around 64*/41* in Evergreen in September. We advise you to dress layered for optimal comfort! For those traveling in, please, remember that it is very dry and high elevation. Evergreen is 7.22k feet above sea level, so remember to properly hydrate and take your time getting up to elevation when you arrive.

WILL THE WEDDING BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

Answer

Both! Our Ceremony will be outdoors, pending proper weather, the cocktail will be indoors and outdoors, and the reception will be indoors. We do have contingency plans for the weather!

WILL THERE BE SHUTTLE SERVICES TO THE WEDDING?

Answer

There are two major routes to the wedding, but they do involve some mountain driving, so we are going to offer shuttle services to everyone. We don't want anyone driving unsafely after drinking or anyone not used to mountain driving!

WHAT TYPE OF FOOD IS BEING SERVED? DIETARY RESTRICTIONS/ALLERGY OPTIONS?

Mountain Crust Catering will be providing appetizers, salad, and their wood- fired pizza menu (with gluten-free options) We will also have a dessert ! If you have dietary restrictions not listed on our RSVP please text Britni! We want everyone to be comfortable!

WILL THERE BE AN OPEN BAR?

Answer

There will be canned beers, wine, and two signature drinks. We will have non-alcoholic beers, mocktails, and pop available! ***Shots are not allowed in our venue***

TRANSPORTATION TO/FROM THE WEDDING

Answer

There is ample parking for everyone, though, there is a stretch of mountain driving to the venue from Denver, Colorado. Unfortunately, Uber, Lyfts, and Taxis are not available in the area of Evergreen Memorial Park, so plan accordingly! There is a shuttle service we provided from the Comfort Suites in Evergreen. We will be setting up shuttles to and from certain hotels and suggest meeting near those locations if you plan on drinking and/or don't prefer mountain driving.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The wedding party is wearing: Men- Dark Jeans, tan or brown sport coat, boots, and some with hats. Women- long dresses in a variety of materials and earthy fall colors and boots. There is a lot of wood, dirty, and grass we will be walking through so skinny heaps are not recommended. Wear what works for you! Google “cowboy formal” or “cowgirl formal” those pictures are pretty accurate!
