Britney and Austin met through mutual friends at Purdue University. When they met, Britney was looking for help with her volleyball team she was coaching at the time. Austin gladly accepted as he had a strong interest in coaching. Coaching allowed them to build a close relationship over the course of time, where they became partners on and off the court. They spent a strong three years together, of endless Disney movies, Chick-fil-a dates, lots of volleyball, and spending time with their pets Willow, Watson, and Waylon. They continuously learning from each other and worked on becoming the best they could be to make their relationship last. In July of 2024, Austin finally asked Britney to marry him, in which he was met with a resounding yes.
