We met on Hinge and had our first date in an escape room at Ala Moana Mall, because nothing says "romance" like being locked in a room together. A few clues in, Britney was already impressed by Tyler’s puzzle-solving skills… while Tyler was a little intimidated by Britney, who wasn’t afraid to keep him on his toes. Somehow we made it out, and after that, we kind of just never went our separate ways. At the beginning of our relationship, Tyler spent a lot of time at sea, including a seven-month deployment with the U.S. Navy. The distance, the missed holidays and the time apart weren’t easy, but they brought us closer in a way we didn’t expect. We learned how to show up for each other no matter what, and proved that even when we were miles apart, we were still a team. Through everything, one thing has always stayed the same—we choose each other every single day.
