FAQs

Question

What are your COVID-19 guidelines?

Answer

We would really appreciate it if you could please try to limit your exposures as much as possible in the 2 weeks leading up to the event. We understand that is not always possible due to work and other life stuff but please just try to be mindful. We will have many hand sanitizers set up around the venue. Gloves will be provided near any self serve food areas such as dessert and candy bar. PLEASE USE THEM and discard them right away. We would also prefer that masks be worn at all times unless eating or drinking of course.

Question

I’m still nervous about COVID-19 during a wedding. What OTHER precautions are you taking?

Answer

We had the very difficult decision of choosing who we are having at our wedding and downsized by 1/3 of our original guest count. We will be seating only 6/7 people at tables that are made for 10/11 so that people can be more spread out. As both of us work in the healthcare field we both will be fully vaccinated by the time the wedding comes and a majority of our friends and some family coming also have been vaccinated due to the fields we work in. We are estimating 1/3 of current guest count will be fully vaccinated. We do encourage everyone to vaccinate if they are able to also help protect us all.

Question

Is the wedding still on due to COVID-19?

Answer

We have made the very difficult decision to postpone our wedding at this time. We have now announced our new date of April 3, 2021! At this time we do not believe we will be postponing again past 4/3/21 and hope that you all can make it to join us on this special day.

Question

What if I RSVPd for your wedding on 5/17. Do I have to RSVP again?

Answer

YES! Please do as this event is now at a new place as well as a new date. We have removed all previous RSVP's and wish for you to please re-submit it by February 21, 2021.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by February 21, 2021

Question

Can I bring a date? Are my kids invited?

Answer

Although we would love to have everyone at our wedding, we’d like to keep to our guest list. We are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.

Question

What time should I be there?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:45 pm so please arrive by 4:30 to park and grab a seat!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal/cocktail. Please wear your favorite cocktail dresses, suit and tie/bow tie(if you’d like) or a sports coat. Keep in mind this is an all outdoor event and keep an eye on the weather!

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the PARTY begins! The bar will open and appetizers begin while the newly weds mingle and take some pictures!

Question

Is parking available on site?

Answer

Yes parking is available on site in the neighborhood. There are many streets within the neighborhood to park; however if you are unable to find parking in the neighborhood you are welcome to park across the street in the ihop parking lot at your own risk. Just PLEASE TRY TO CARPOOL.

Question

Do you have a hotel room block?

Answer

Unfortunately we do not, however I did include two hotels that are within 3 miles of the venue in the travel section in case you would like to use one of those.
