Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, kids above the age of three are welcome at the ceremony and reception.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Ideally we would like our headcount to be confirmed by early September, but the deadline will be 15th of September, 2027.

What should I wear?

Answer

We would like our guests to be comfortable, but dress appropriately. The dress code is "dressy casual". You can wear sundresses, casual dresses, slacks and button up shirts, no tie required. No jeans or shorts or flip flops, but no need to buy anything fancy.

What if I have food allergies or restrictions?

Answer

Please notify either Luke, or myself so we can arrange something. We want to ensure all of our guests have a chance to eat something they could enjoy.

How close together are the ceremony and reception venues?

Answer

The wedding venue and reception will both be held at the Rainforest Gardens in Mount cotton, it is one venue and will be walking distance.

What are the methods of transportation?

Answer

Mount cotton is accessible by car. It is up to you to arrive by car, car hire, or getting a rental.

What shoes are appropriate?

Answer

Sandals, heels, dress shoes, and hey dudes/boat shoes permitted. Tennis shoes, flip flops, and slides should not be worn. We will be in farmland/nature, there are gardens for photos.

What do the elderly or disabled people need to know?

Answer

There may be some terrain that can be harder to navigate for people who cannot ambulate well on their own, the venue can arrange specialty transportation by gulf cart for people who NEED the extra help.

Will you be reserving a hotel block for people coming from out of town?

Answer

I will be reserving a hotel block for those traveling from overseas. Please reach out to either Luke or myself for more information.

Can I take pictures on my phone?

Answer

There will be no photos or videos DURING the ceremony other than the photographer/ videographer. However, once the ceremony is over you may take photos! We would like everyone to capture memories for the day, but ask that we limit the time spent on the phones other than taking photos/ and or videos.

Are you accepting gifts/ registry?

Answer

Luke and I will not have a registry but we will have a wishing well pot set up at the wedding. If there are any gifts you would like to get us that's more than okay, but we are not asking for anything specific.

Do I need a visa to enter Australia?

Answer

Yes, you do need a visa to enter Australia even if you're just visiting. You can apply for an electronic travel authority (ETA)n visa by following this link https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/electronic-travel-authority-601 This visa is for visitors to travel and visit Australia and costs less than 15USD.
