Jerone and Britney initially met at Booker T. Washington High School in the 10th grade in Ms. Burns class. Jerone use to say I use to get him in trouble in class which is not the truth. Jerone found himself in trouble all the time by himself because he was the class clown. Until this day, he says me and my best friends would make him stay in trouble with the teacher. We still get a good laugh from how our friendship came about. After that year, Jerone left Booker T. Years went by, and as adults, Jerone was reintroduced to me through my little cousin, Alyssa when she invited him to Holy Bible Way Church. I forget if he was there to sing but nonetheless he was there. At first, I played it off like I didn’t remember who he was but I did. Jerone said do you remember me, I said what’s your name. He said Jerone Williams from Booker T. in Ms. Burns class. I said oh yeah, I remember now. After about a year he joined my church. We were cool with being friends. Alyssa kept bugging me to try going out with Jerone and I was like no, he’s too goofy and brushed it off. So about a year or so later I asked Jerone about his Facebook post about finding his wife. He said he believes he already did. Me not thinking anything of it, I said that was a good thing. To my disbelief I had no clue he was referencing me. So we remained friends and saw each other at church and hung out with the group. So fast forward, after Tycen turned one and of course needed his first haircut I took him to Jerone. I saw how he treated my son and was extra nice to me. I actually had to rethink giving this man a chance. So, finally we went out on a date and surprisingly I had a blast and we been rocking ever since. Trust, this journey was not easy but we have come together and there’s nothing like the love we have for each other. Now we are getting married. Look at God! This is a sure blessing for us and we can’t wait to share this moment with you all!!
