What time is the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4 pm. Please begin getting seated by 3:30 pm. The ceremony will take place at the back of Hagar’s on the water. Please do not enter our venue prior to the ceremony, our caterer and bartenders will be setting up.

Where are we registered?

Answer

We are not registered. Our home is filled with of all our needs. Please consider donating to our honeymoon fund listed in our registry.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, we want to see our guests look their best. Please dress in semi-formal attire. NO JEANS PLEASE.

What is your color scheme?

Answer

We’ve had some people ask about colors. Due to the intimate nature of our wedding, we would love our guests to dress in coordinated colors. However, it’s not required. Feel free to use the color swatches above to plan your wedding attire.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to the intimate nature of our event, please only bring a date if we have listed them on your invitation. We chose an intimate wedding and can only accommodate our closest friends and family.

Are kids welcome?

Please only bring your child if we have formally invited them. Only the children in our wedding will be present.

What happens if it rains?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place on outdoors on Lake Michigan behind Hagar’s Hideaway. If it rains…The show will go on! We will be renting a tent should it rain on our parade. If the weather is not nice enough to move forward with a tent we will make accommodations to be married inside Hagar’s.

When should we book our accommodations?

Answer

ASAP. We sent our save the dates early to ensure everyone has time to book their stays. We have 10 hotel rooms blocked for our guests at The Shoreline Inn and Conference Center. Those are first come first serve. There are other accommodations listed on our website as well. The bride and groom will be in Muskegon from October 8th - 13th.
