Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

April is one of the best times to visit Sedona! The weather is typically mild and sunny, with average daytime highs in the mid-60s to low 70s°F (18–23°C) and cooler nighttime temperatures that can drop into the 40s°F (4–9°C). You can expect plenty of sunshine—which makes it great for outdoor activities. However, Sedona is at an elevation of about 4,300 feet, so the sun can feel warmer during the day, and temperatures can drop quickly once the sun sets. Rain and snow are uncommon but not impossible - it snowed on April 10th, 2025!! While the chances are low, it’s good to be prepared just in case. What to pack: - Light layers for daytime warmth and comfort - A jacket or wrap for the evening chill - Sunglasses and sunscreen (the UV index can still be strong) - Comfortable shoes for exploring or walking on natural terrain Whether you're hiking or heading to our celebration, Sedona in April is breathtaking—expect warm days, crisp evenings, and those iconic red rock views at their best.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors, while the reception will have an indoor-outdoor flow (weather permitting), surrounded by Sedona’s stunning red rock views. We'll have shade and heaters as needed, but please dress accordingly!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception will be held at Sky Ranch Lodge - we would love if everyone could stay there with us! To reserve your room please call Sky Ranch Lodge directly at (928) 282-6400 and select option #2. When speaking with one of their team members, please mention that you are attending our wedding (Christian-Bouchard). Please note that they do not offer traditional group blocks with a contracted number of rooms or fixed rates. Instead, when guests book, they will tag your reservations under our wedding for tracking purposes. Each guest will receive the best available rate at the time of their booking. To lock in the best rates, we recommend everyone make their reservations as soon as possible.

Question

What’s the best way to get to Sedona?

Answer

The closest major airport is Phoenix Sky Harbor International (PHX), which is about a 2-hour drive from Sedona. Renting a car is the most convenient option for getting around the area.
