As many of you know, we live in Charlotte, North Carolina, and our wedding will take place about 30 minutes outside the city. For those traveling in, we encourage you to plan your trip based on how you’d like to spend your time and where you’d prefer to stay: Stay in Charlotte: If you’d like to explore the city’s vibrant restaurants, nightlife, and attractions, feel free to book your stay in Charlotte. Please keep in mind that a car or rideshare will be needed to travel to and from our wedding venue. Stay near the venue: If you’d prefer a more relaxed visit, the nearby town of Gastonia offers plenty to do, along with a quieter atmosphere and beautiful local spots to enjoy during your stay in North Carolina. We’re so excited to celebrate with you and can’t wait to welcome you to our favorite place!
Our celebration will be a blend of classic elegance with a southern twist, set outdoors in the beauty of spring. For the Ladies: We kindly ask that you wear formal, floor-length gowns in any color that celebrates the season. Since our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, feel free to embrace soft, airy fabrics and spring hues. Think timeless, elegant, and photo-ready! For the Gentlemen: Suits and ties are encouraged. A well-tailored suit always makes a statement, and we can’t wait to see everyone looking sharp and confident—like a true southern runway! Though our venue is a barn, we’re keeping the vibe elevated and sophisticated, so please come dressed in your Sunday best and ready to celebrate in style.
Our wedding will be held at The Barn at Blue Sky Farms, nestled along a scenic road that showcases the beautiful trees and charm of North Carolina. As you follow the signs to the property, you’ll be guided to a stunning barn overlooking a serene pond—perfect for our celebration. There is a parking lot conveniently located in front of the barn, where both rideshares and personal vehicles are welcome to park.
While we would love to celebrate with everyone in our lives, we are planning an intimate wedding with our closest family and friends. To help us achieve this, we are not able to accommodate plus-ones, unless a guest is specifically invited with one as noted on their invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to share our special day with you!
While we adore your little ones, we are planning an adults-only wedding to create a relaxed and intimate atmosphere. We are making a few exceptions for immediate family members, as noted personally to those invited. Thank you for understanding, and we can’t wait to celebrate this special day with all of you!
