The happy couple both attended BCHS back in the early 2000's, where Britney noticed Caleb first (it was the hair), but she was never courageous enough to say hi. Caleb ended up moving to Grand Junction his sophomore year, which is when our stories deviate for a little over ten years. While time passed, our mutual friends stayed the same, which is how we reconnected. One day Caleb worked up the courage to invite Britney out on their first date at The Flying Pig, and the rest is history.

After about a year of dating, we started to build the foundations of what has become a beautiful life together. We moved into our first apartment, adopted Ranger, our gray tabby cat, then took our first international trip together to Brazil, where Caleb embraced Britney's love for travel. A few years later, we ventured over to Iceland where a plan started to take shape.

After our first visit to Iceland, we both fell in love with the city, the people and the scenery. Just one year after our first trip, we went back, but this time Britney' Mom and Dad joined. On the first day, Thanksgiving 2023, we all ventured to the top of Hallgrimskrkja Church, which overlooks all of Reykjavik. There Caleb dropped to one knee, and said "now that we are in our favorite city, almost on top of the world, will you marry me?" Which brings us to now. We are so excited to celebrate our biggest day yet, surrounded by the ones we love.
