How close is the hotel to the venue?

Answer

The venue and hotel are on the same street! Both located on Monroe Ave in downtown Grand Rapids. The Embassy Suites Hotel is roughly 1 mile from The Cheney Place.

How close is the airport to the hotel/venue?

Answer

The airport is 13 miles and roughly a 15-25 minute Uber/Lyft ride to the hotel! If you experience transportation issues feel free to call Brad, Myself, or Brad’s parents - all of us live 10-15 minutes from the airport and would be more than willing to give you a ride.

Do I have to drive between ceremony/reception?

Answer

NO! We wanted a venue that had everything all in the same place making it safe and easy for our guests. The ceremony, cocktail hour, pictures, and reception will all be held in the same building.

How long should we stay?

Answer

Our wedding is on a Friday so we recommend coming Thursday evening or Friday morning! Of course feel free to stay as little or long as you’d like, we just want you to have a good time and enjoy your weekend. We’d love to have you in town through Sunday so we can show you our city that we have grown to love. If you do stay that long - please reach out to us and we’d love to show you around!
