How We Met

December 10th, 2016

The first time Britney met Jonathan, she was waiting for him to come over after a Packer game. He called her on his cell phone saying, "I have no idea where my phone is and I don't know how to get to your house." She thought he had to be drunk because he was calling her off of his cell phone. He said that the phone had been connected to his Bluetooth in the truck. She had to give him directions to get to her house and he went flying by her apartment while she was standing outside. He finally came up to door with the biggest smile on his face. Great first impression, lol ;) From then on, they spent almost every day together. They celebrated their first Christmas together and met each other's families. On January 14th, 2017, he finally asked her to be his girlfriend.

The Proposal

June 1st, 2019

Jonathan and Britney were getting ready for a family barbeque that they would be hosting at their house. Jonathan was cleaning up the garage and Britney was cleaning the house. Jonathan decided to come inside to asked Britney when she would be getting shower and if she would be curling or straightening her hair. Britney thought it was odd that he would be asking her how she would be doing her hair, but she said, "I think I'll curl it." Later on, he got showered and asked where his nice shirts were. Britney thought this was odd as they would only be going grocery shopping for the party, but still pointed him in the direction to his shirt. At the grocery store, he forgot to pick up ice and she asked, "weren't you going to get ice." He stated, "I'll get that after we do a few errands." She thought to herself, "maybe this is it, maybe it's really going to happen." He then drove immediately to Kwik Trip to pick up ice which through her off. After, they began driving towards High Cliff State Park, where he asked her to be his girlfriend. He drove into where they had went camping only a few months prior. After getting out of the truck, Jon took Bronx out of the truck and they began walking down the walking path towards a cliff where they had went hiking only a few months earlier. Jon gave Bronx treats to have him sit, overlooking the beautiful Lake Winnebago. Jon turned Britney towards him and began talking about her being his best friend and stating how lucky he was to have her in his life. This is when he made her the happiest girl in the world and asked her to be his wife.
