We met the old fashion way...on a dating app with some unique location filters (Germany was a little outside of my 30 mile radius). After talking on Hinge, we met up at Leawood City Park for a walk and then went to Chicken N' Pickle for games and food. Jeff graciously lost at Corn Hole and Connect 4 but came out triumphantly at Ping Pong.

Midway through our Icelandic adventure, we explored Jokulsarlon's Diamond Beach on the Eastern portion of the island. The beach is made of black volcanic rock with small pieces of diamond-like icebergs that float up on shore. Needless to say, I came home with a diamond!
