Flying Into D.C.

The Washington DC metropolitan area is served by three airports. Reagan National Airport (DCA) is close to the city center. It is 10 minutes away from the city center by car and 16 minutes by public transit. Baltimore-Washington International (BWI) (Thurgood Marshall!) lies north of the city. It is a 45 to 75-minute drive from the city center, depending on traffic. Washington Dulles (IAD) is the main international airport serving the city. It is a 45 to 60-minute drive to the center of the city. Taking public transit from BWI or Dulles, while much more cost-effective than a rideshare, can be a little complicated. Please let us know if you’re flying into these airports and we’d be happy to help you plan out a way to get to where you’re staying.

How to Get Around D.C.

It is relatively easy to get around D.C. by car although parking can be expensive and difficult to find. We recommend using the Metro and Metrobuses if you can. Refillable SmarTrip cards are available for purchase from most machines in any metro station.

Venue: Fathom Gallery

The reception and dinner will take place at Fathom Gallery which is in the heart of Northwest D.C. at 1333 14th St NW, Washington DC, 20005. The closest metro stops are the Dupont Circle and Mt. Vernon Square stations, each about a 15 min walk to the venue. For those guests planning to drive, street parking can be a bit difficult in the area, but if you are unable to find a spot, you can find paid parking around the venue and at the Washington Plaza Hotel nearby.
