We met in person for the first time at Village Inn, in Fayetteville, AR. We were meeting up with a group of mutual friends to eat breakfast, before playing laser tag. When we first saw each other in person, we gave each other a hug, and my hand touched his hand. It’s sweet because he now has a heart tattoo on his thumb to symbolize the first part of his hand I touched. The waitress at Village Inn spilt butter on him and thus began what we call “the butter curse”, where every time we went to Village Inn together, he got butter spilt on him haha. We went on our first official date about a month later, and it’s been blissful love ever since. Our dating anniversary and marriage anniversary are both on Halloween, and it’s also both of our favourite holiday. Our baby ghoul also loves Halloween. So, naturally our ceremony and reception has to be on Halloween as well. It just makes sense.
