Hunter and Brittney's love story is a beautiful example of how life can bring you back around full circle. Although they both grew up in Arizona while attending the same high school for a year as well as the same college, they somehow missed each other entirely… It wasn't until about six years later when Brittney was living in Tempe that she finally met the love of her life. They first met when her roommate brought Hunter back home after dinner one night. Little did Hunter know that this was a planned meet cute that Brittney had arranged after hearing so much about this "Hunter" fellow. After they were introduced and Brittney beat Hunter in a game of Rummikub, they couldn’t stop thinking about each other. A few weeks later, after a few coffee dates at Press, a few hikes on Camelback Mountain and Squaw Peak, they were spending every chance they could getting to know each other. They quickly discovered that they had a lot in common, from their love of adventure to their shared faith. This was a few short weeks before Hunter was leaving for a missions trip so they spent as much time as they could together. Despite being apart, their connection only grew stronger as they continued to send pictures daily and talk until they fell asleep. The day Hunter returned from his trip, he officially asked Brittney to be his girlfriend. They spent the next four years building a life together, filled with adventure, love, and endless laughter. They've gone on an immeasurable amount of hikes, camped all over Arizona, served at their church together, explored glaciers in Alaska, flew a plane together, watched the sunrise at the Grand Canyon on New Years morning, and hiked to the top of a volcano. Hunter's proposal to Brittney was nothing short of magical. Starting bright and early on the morning of August 6th, he had a whole day planned for her to spend with her girlfriends that was full of surprises. Throughout the day, Brittney received envelopes from various friends and strangers which had messages engraved on wooden letters that Hunter created. The last note she received told her that Hunter would be meeting her for dinner at a place that would be made forever special to them from that day forward. Brittney was delivered to the Wrigley Mansion that evening where Hunter was waiting at the end of a long train of rose petals on the Wrigley garden.
