Brittany and Chris both started attending the Frisco YSA but officially first met at a game night in Prosper, Texas on June 9, 2024. They were both in the same church group and had a lot of the same friends. However, they never really talked to each other until that night when they were partnered for one of the games. Chris saw Brittany singing Sabrina Carpenter songs to herself accompanied by little dance moves with her arms. He had never heard any of that artist’s songs before, but Chris also didn’t know at the time that he would be very familiar with not only Sabrina Carpenter but also Morgan Wallen and many other new artists. At the end of the game night, they talked for a bit about shows they were watching and Brittany brought up how the Traitors game show on Peacock was a fun and hilarious watch and recommended that Chris should watch it. So, like with anyone you just meet, Chris took up that recommendation, bought the annual subscription to Peacock and watched Traitors. Brittany started following Chris on Instagram so he dm’d her about how funny and great the show was. Brittany was always the cute girl at church and even before officially meeting Chris felt that way about her. After a few weeks of talking at church, hangouts, and her inviting him for a firework show on the 4th of July, Chris felt like she was the only girl he needed to ask out. And he did just that. Fortunately, she said yes. And we went disc golfing at Bill Allen Park in Frisco, Texas. We never went disc golfing again. Their first date was a fun date and opened up the way for Brittany and Chris to spend much more time together. They started texting each other everyday. Starting with a good morning text and ending with a goodnight text. They still do that to this day. Chris loved how beautiful Brittany is, inside and out. The way she carried herself and cared for others in her life. Chris was very impressed at how Brittany put herself out there and took the initiative to get to know him. Brittany watched how Chris spoke and talked to others. He was kind to everyone and always looking for ways to help those around him. She grew more and more impressed by him as he continued to exceed her expectations. He continued to show up for her and others, loved the Lord and didnt play games with her heart. She loved his gentle confidence and how he made his intentions clear. She felt peace everytime she was with him and eventually knew before even making things official that he would one day be her husband. After many more dates and a Morgan Wallen concert, Chris asked Brittany to be his girlfriend on August 6th, 2024. Fortunately, she said yes. And after two trips to Utah, a trip to Georgia and Florida, and other fun adventures, Chris proposed to Brittany on March 25, 2025 on a hot spring afternoon in Honey Creek Venues in Celina, Texas. Adoringly, she said yes ;) We are so excited to enter into this next chapter of our lives and can’t wait to celebrate with our favorite people.
