Rocky Mountain National Park
It will be leaf-peeping season in the mountains! While it’s hard to predict exactly what the fall colors will look like that week, the website below is a great resource for tracking where foliage is changing across the state. Peak color in the high mountains will likely be a few weeks earlier, but areas at lower elevations and closer to Denver should still be beautiful. If you’re hoping to get out for a hike or scenic drive, we recommend heading out early in the day — it’s a popular time of year and trails can get crowded.
Tennyson Street
Tennyson Street is the neighborhood we call home, and we’d love for you to spend some time exploring it while you’re in town. It’s a lively street full of great restaurants, coffee shops, local stores, and even a cat café. A few of our favorites: Restaurants: Post Oak – Texas BBQ Lucy’s – Burgers BÃO – Asian Grateful Gnome - A Grateful Dead and gnome themed restaurant! Breakfast: Denver Biscuit Co Cozy Cottage Café Call Your Mother Bakery: Bakery Four – a Denver staple. There’s almost always a line, and it’s absolutely worth it. Coffee: Huckleberry Roasters Mob Coffee Eloise – great matcha

Casa Bonita - a massive, highly themed Mexican “eat-ertainment” restaurant in Lakewood, Colorado. Opened in 1974 and famously restored by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, it features a 30-foot indoor waterfall with cliff divers, puppet shows, arcade games, and a labyrinthine pink castle setting. Yeah it is awesome. Johnny Bechamel's - Italian, maybe make a reservation, must order - focaccia and ravioli Cart Driver - Make a reservation, amazing pizza and pasta, don't skip the bread and butter and farm green salad Safta - located in the source hotel, great mediterranean, will need a reservation. Sonny's if the sister restaurant is a more casual take out but equally as delicious Uncle - make a reservation, the wash park one also has some amazing sushi, most known for their Ramen Leven Supply or Leven Deli - great lunch time sandwiches, do not skip the cookies KiKi's Red Tacos - a Ethan favorite, best birra tacos! Ginger Pig - Bib Gourmand, street asian food!
