Can we bring our kids?

Think of it as a date night! While we love your little ones, our special day will be adults-only.

What should I wear?

Answer

We kindly request that our guests join us in semi formal to cocktail attire. We want you to be comfortable, but please no denim or hats. We suggest lighter/brighter colors (still no white), floral prints, and suits in lighter hues. We recommend a block or wedge heel to avoid sinking into the grass and woodchips. While the days in June are warm, evenings in the mountains can be chilly so bring a sweater or jacket! For women, tea length, midi or maxi dresses, or jumpsuits would be appropriate. For men, slacks and a collared shirt, jacket/blazer and ties optional.

Can I take photos or videos during the ceremony?

We have hired a WONDERFUL photographer whose work means so much to us, she will be capturing all of our special moments. We would love for everyone to remain in the moment, so please keep your devices stowed away for the ceremony.

Can I bring a date?

We ask that you please do not bring plus ones unless specified on invitation. We will be unable to accommodate extra guests.

Where should I stay?

Answer

Danielle has compiled a list of rentals for ease of access under the "Travel" section. But you are not limited to these options! Airbnb and VRBO will be the closest options to the venue, but there are plenty of hotels in Leavenworth. We also encourage guests to stay with other family members or friends! We know a lot of people are traveling from very far away for us and we encourage you to make a trip out of it, it is a gorgeous area and we would love for you to experience the place we call home.

What time should I arrive?

Our ceremony will begin at 4:00PM and we ask that our guests are seated 15 minutes before it begins.

Is this venue accessible?

Answer

Our venue has a short walk on a grassy pathway to get to the ceremony area. If you would like to request additional assistance, either an escort for extra stability, or a ride in a vehicle, please let Bristan or Danielle know! We would love to help ensure that you are able to join us and make you more comfortable.

There is a large parking area located at Brown Family Homestead and it will be labeled and the gate open!
