Car Rental

We suggest for out of towners to rent a car. The downtown area is walkable, but the air port is a fifteen minute drive. If you would like to visit any spots in New Mexico a car is needed.

Going to National Parks in the Area

We have enjoyed our time when we visited the Parks in the area. We do want to stress that when going to these places they are in long stretches of desert where there are no gas stations. Please be sure to have a full tank of gas before going exploring!
