Flight

Fly into Dublin

Most airlines fly through Dublin International Airport (DAA). For handy travel tips https://www.dublinairport.com/travel-advice/prepare-for-travel. DAA is north of downtown Dublin, about a 15 minute bus ride on the Dublin Express for 7 pounds or a 30 minute car ride. Rental cars are available at DAA: https://www.dublinairport.com/to-from-the-airport/car-rental. Lyft and Uber are also in Dublin, however FREE NOW taxi app is most popluar. You can check it out here: https://www.free-now.com/ie/. Flying home from Dublin: prepare to arrive 3 hours prior to your flight (more if you are checking a bag).

Train

Dublin to Cork

High speed train: Dublin to Cork high speed train takes 2 hours 32 minutes (2 hours 48 minutes as the longest travel time). It departs 14 times daily from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM at night. Train tickets are about $50 for Economy and $85 for First Class. Trains leave from Heuston station, Dublin and arrive at Kent Station, Cork. The journey time is about 3 and a half hours. https://mydaytrip.com/landing/dublin-to-cork?gad=1&gclid=CjwKCAiA0syqBhBxEiwAeNx9N_WQlbDdNt00nYdDtWsmAGs6CyIVxHjg51JfwvDL8o00ejo9permxxoCSTAQAvD_BwE Bus: there is also a direct Bus route Aston Quay → Lower Glanmire Rd, taking about 3 hours. This seems to be the cheapest option at about $18-$30 per passenger. https://www.rome2rio.com/map/Dublin/Cork#r/Bus/s/0 Flights: Ryanair flies from Dublin to Cork for less than $100 per person. Just make sure there aren't hefty fees for your bags! Castlemartyr also includes travel information here: https://www.castlemartyrresort.ie/about/location/

Flight

Flying London to Cork

Flying into London may be a cheaper option depending on what city you come from. After landing in London, you can take an hour and a half flight to Cork via Ryanair or Aer Lingus for less than $100. Keep in mind: Ryanair does not include baggage in their price. There are many more airlines besides these two as options to fly into Cork, these are just the cheapest.

We love little ones so much and they are welcome to join us in Ireland, however we won’t have children present during the ceremony or reception.
