Tyler and Brittanny's story truly begins back when they both attended Calallen High School but not at the same time. Brittanny happened to be on the same cheerleading team as his younger sister but neither had an idea that each other existed and their paths still hadn't crossed.

Tyler and Brittanny met in 2018, when the love for their black labs, Harvie and Indy, brought them together. At the time, Brittanny lived in Owasso, Oklahoma and Tyler lived in San Antonio, Texas. They took turns visiting one another for several months and FaceTiming each other for hours on end. In 2019, Brittanny received a great job opportunity at USAA and was able to move to San Antonio and with ALL 4 dogs, Athena, Harvie, Heidi and Indy, now living together under one roof. Tyler and Brittanny knew and felt that the love, respect, admiration and appreciation that they have for one another was something not many get the privilege of having in their lives and couldn't wait to start planning their future together.

Tyler finally worked up the courage to pop the question in March of 2020, shortly after they bought their first home together. Unfortunately, the amazing trip and proposal that he planned in Lake Tahoe, California was cancelled one week before they were supposed to leave due to COVID! In the meantime, Tyler hid her engagement ring at his office while Brittanny had her suspicions and searched their home high and low, looking for it for the next 4 months. Finally, on July 2, 2020, Brittanny's hunches came to fruition when Tyler got down on one knee, on the top of a VERY high cliff edge, in front of the most beautiful Colorado sunset they had ever seen and asked Brittanny to spend forever with him and she said YES!
